“Mom, can we go outside and play?” Paige asked.

“Are you dressed?”

“Um….” she trailed off, slammed the back door and streaked up to her room to change.

I never have a problem with them going outside to play.  I just ask they be dressed first, so the neighbor’s don’t think they’re totally neglected.

I fear what Paige came down in today will not allay their fears.


How come my three year old can dress herself almost perfectly, and my seven year old constantly looks like this when left to her own devices?
